Jack Dowling

He has deep industry expertise in software product development, technology services, telecommunications, logistics and distribution.
Most recently, Jack ran business operations for GlobeRanger, a market-leading RFID software products company where he improved that company’s delivery capability by developing and utilizing the industry’s most advanced RFID deployment methodology and by re-engineering core business processes, establishing departmental metrics and implementing a continuous improvement program.
Prior to joining GlobeRanger, Jack served as COO at Truckload, a supply chain management and distribution company. Dowling founded and was CEO of Visual Business Intelligence (VBI), a software product firm specializing in business activity monitoring (BAM). He also served as EVP/CIO at Eagle Global Logistics, a $1.7 billion global logistics company; SVP/CIO at CompuCom, a $3+ billion global IT services-based computer reseller; and in several key technology management roles at Sprint, a $10 billion global telecommunications company.
A frequent speaker at technology and investor conferences, Jack’s achievements have been highlighted in CIO Magazine, Information Week, Computer World and other leading trade journals. His organizations have twice been awarded the Data Warehousing Institute's Best Practices Award and received an honorable mention in CIO Magazine’s 1999 Enterprise Value Award.
Jack was the Dallas Business Journal’s and the Society for Information Management’s Dallas-Ft.Worth 1999 Information Technology Executive (CIO) of the year.
